The Idea
We went back to the beginning.

Phyllis Robinson was DDB’s first copy chief. Her work helped define the agency, even if her name was never on the door. We revisited some of DDB’s most iconic work and altered the headlines to credit her, making visible what had always been there.

It also recognized the women who shaped the agency alongside—and after—her. The rebrand rolled out globally across DDB offices in under 24 hours, supported by a PR release that reimagined a piece from her era.
